Kampala to Murchison falls
The guide will pick you up from an agreed location in Kampala, Entebbe or the airport and transfer to Murchison falls national park. En-route, you can opt for an optional visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – the only place where you can see Rhinos in Uganda.Proceed to Masindi for lunch (kabalega Dinners) and continue to Murchison falls national park arriving in the afternoon. You will enter the park through Kichumbanyobo gate and visit the top of the falls after which you will proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Fort Murchison Lodge.
Game drive and boat cruise
Breakfast will be served early and go for a game drive where we shall see some of the big five including lions, buffaloes and elephants. Giraffes are a common sight including other small game like antelopes, impalas and primates like the baboons.
Have lunch and in the afternoon, go for a boat cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the falls where you will come up close with hippos and a serried range of giant crocodiles at the crocodile bar. The boat cruise also presents bird viewing opportunities for about two hours. After we shall head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
You will enjoy breakfast and drive back to Kampala via Masindi town. Drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe airport for your onward flight. A visit to Murchison falls national park is always worth and much rewarding. The atmosphere, the wildlife, and facilities are all awesome!
